A student from Turkmenistan became the winner of the All-Russian award “Foreign Student of the Year of the Russian Federation.”
Igor Ermolayev, a student of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences at the North Caucasus Federal University, originally from Turkmenistan, won in the category “Scientific Breakthrough of the Year,” as reported on the university’s Telegram channel.
The award ceremony took place on November 20, 2025, at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in Moscow. The award, organized by the Association of Foreign Students of Russia, brought together the best students from across the country. The winners were honored in eight different categories.
