Admission to bachelor’s programs at Chinese universities begins: Documents accepted from December 1 to 15

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan announces the selection process for the 2026/2027 academic year for bachelor’s degree programs at higher educational institutions of the People’s Republic of China.

Applications from citizens of Turkmenistan who have completed general secondary education, are at least 18 years old, under 25 years old, and have proficiency in English will be accepted from December 1 to 15, 2025, at the International University for the Humanities and Development. Information on available majors, the number of candidates to be admitted to Chinese universities, and study conditions can be obtained from the admission committee.

Required documents:

— application form and questionnaire of the established national format;
— questionnaire of the format required by universities of the PRC;
— a statement confirming that the applicant has not previously received a scholarship from the Government of the PRC for the relevant level of education (guarantee letter);
— original general secondary education certificate (copy and certified translation);
— original certificate confirming successful completion of one of the academic tests: SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, or HSK (copy and certified translation);
— CSCA (China Scholastic Competency Assessment) test results;
— medical certificate of the established format from the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan (for applicants to foreign universities);
— reference letter/characteristic from the last place of study, work, or military service;
— twelve photographs sized 3×4 cm.

School students who qualify for admission privileges must submit original documents confirming victories in national subject Olympiads or participation in international Olympiads as members of the Turkmenistan national team.

Candidates who submit the required documents will be selected on a competitive basis according to their academic test results.

The admission committee may request additional information if needed. Applicants bear personal responsibility for providing false information or fraudulent documents.
