Baymyrat Soyunov — A Model of Hard Work and Success

Among Turkmenistan’s cotton farmers, Baymyrat Soyunov stands out as a symbol of diligence and dedication. His “Baylar” farming enterprise is one of the leading producers of “white gold” — cotton — in the country.

The Beginning of a Farmer’s Path

From a young age, Baymyrat began farming in the Hydyrchopan area of Kerki district. He leased land, grew wheat and cotton, and consistently achieved high yields, gaining valuable experience.

In 2021, he established “Baylar” Farm, leasing 67 hectares of land for long-term cultivation. Using his earnings wisely, he purchased modern tractors and equipment to strengthen his enterprise.

Results of Honest Labor

Thanks to proper care, mineral fertilization, and efficient irrigation, the farm achieved remarkable results.
Last year, 251 tons of cotton were harvested instead of the planned 134, reaching an average of 37.5 centners per hectare.

The white, fluffy cotton bolls shining in the fields became a living proof of hard work and love for the land.

A Family Working Together

Baymyrat’s sons, Aganyaz and Abdyrahman, take active roles in the management of the farm. Baymyrat himself, during busy seasons, personally drives his tractor — nicknamed the “iron horse.”
From dawn till dusk, the whole family — sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, and helpers — works tirelessly, collecting the fruits of their labor.

Achievements and Recognition

This year, the farm delivered over 200 tons of cotton to the state, proudly celebrating Harvest Festival as a victory of labor.
Baymyrat says:

“Each harvest is a joy and gratitude to our native land. The support of our President inspires us to work even harder every year.”

Under Baymyrat Soyunov’s leadership, “Baylar” Farm has become a shining example of dedication, innovation, and productivity. His story reflects the power of honest labor and love for the homeland.
