Eight Hockey Teams to Compete for the “Neutrality Cup”

The “Neutrality Cup” hockey tournament has kicked off at the ice arena of the “Galkan” Winter Sports Center and will continue until December 16.

Eight teams representing the country’s law enforcement agencies, government institutions and ministries are participating:

  • Galkan (Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan)

  • Nesil (Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs)

  • Vatanchi (Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense)

  • Merdana (Border Guard Institute)

  • Burgut (Sports School of the State Committee for Sports)

  • Oguzhan (“TurkmenGazAutomation” Department)

  • Shir (Ministry of Trade)

  • Alp Arslan (Transport and Communications Complex)

The tournament is held with the support of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports.

Ahead of the competitions, an international seminar for referees was held at the “Galkan” Sports Center with the support of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
