Experienced Farmer Rozykul Hezzekov: “The Harvest of Years of Hard Work”

Our correspondent spoke with experienced farmer Rozykul Hezzekov from the “Azatlyk” farmers’ association of Kerki district. Rozykul Hezzekov is one of the tenants who has been working in agriculture for many years and who fulfills his contractual obligations with dignity. In recent years, he has achieved high results in his work related to the farmers’ association, increasing the cotton yield to 36.5 centners per hectare.

In his conversation with our correspondent, Rozykul Hezzekov shared his experience:

— In 1990, I received land for cotton cultivation in our farmers’ association. My family and I worked diligently. In the first year, we harvested 25–30 centners of cotton from each hectare. Since then, my name has been mentioned with respect among the tenants, — he said.

During the interview, he noted that he still fulfills his contractual obligations and manages to achieve even higher yields of cotton. He also mentioned that the harvested cotton is referred to as “white gold,” and that his family consistently participates in the work:

— We are grateful to our esteemed President! The state’s increase in crop prices has given great motivation to our labor. We earn good income year after year. My family — my sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren — always help actively. This brings us great happiness and pride, — Rozykul Hezzekov concluded.
