Festive Trade to Begin in Turkmenistan on December 5
At the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on November 28, Vice Prime Minister N. Atagulyyev reported on preparations of the country’s trade sector for the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year holiday.
It was reported that festive trade will start on December 5 in the shopping centers, markets, and stores of the velayats, as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. Mobile trading points are also planned to be organized.
In this regard, a relevant proposal was submitted for the consideration of the Head of State.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of taking proper measures to fully meet the population’s demand for various types of goods in connection with the upcoming holidays — the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year.
Noting the need to properly organize the work of mobile trade points and ensure that markets and stores are adequately supplied with food products, including vegetables, melons, fruits, and berries, the Head of State gave corresponding instructions to the Vice Prime Minister.
