Health-Promoting Natural Products Produced at Enterprise in Balkan from Healing Mud and Sea Salt
At a modern enterprise located near the city of Balkanabat in Balkan province, part of the “Turkmendermansenagat” association of the Ministry of Health and Pharmaceutical Industry of Turkmenistan, extensive work is currently underway to produce natural products with health benefits.
According to the Watan news program, the enterprise consists of three divisions: a division for processing healing mud, a division for packaging sea salt, and a quality control division. The divisions are interconnected through computer systems. The facility is equipped with advanced machinery from Italy, Turkey, Japan, Belgium, and France.
Turkmenistan’s nature is known for its rich variety of natural health-promoting resources, with different types of healing mud and sea salt being particularly important. In the healing mud processing division, mud sourced from natural reserves is cleaned of stones, sand, and other impurities using specialized sieves, then ground to the required consistency and transferred to the filling system. The production capacity of this division is 600 packaged products per hour.
In the sea salt packaging division, the salt is first dried to the necessary level, then cleaned on specialized sieves from stones, metal, and other impurities. Part of the purified salt is formed into granules under special pressure. Various medicinal herbs are added to the granules to give them therapeutic properties.
