Hungary Launches Admission for Bachelor’s Degree Programs

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan announces the start of admission for bachelor’s degree programs at higher education institutions of Hungary for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Documents of Turkmen citizens with secondary education, who will turn 18 by August 31, 2026, and graduate from secondary school in the 2025–2026 academic year, will be accepted from December 1 to 15, 2025, at the International University for Humanities and Development.

Information about the list of majors, the number of applicants to be accepted for bachelor’s programs in Hungary, and study conditions can be obtained from the admission committee.

Required documents:

— application and questionnaire of the established format;
— birth certificate (copy + certified translation);
— proof of permanent residence (copy + certified translation);
— original secondary school certificate (copy + certified translation);
— original SAT, TOEFL, or IELTS certificate (copy + certified translation);
— medical certificate issued by the Ministry of Health of Turkmenistan for applicants planning to study abroad;
— reference from the last place of study or work (or from military unit);
— twelve photos sized 3×4 cm.

Winners of national subject Olympiads and members of Turkmenistan’s teams who participated in international Olympiads must submit original documents confirming their achievements.

Applicants must also submit and present the following documents:

— Turkmenistan national passport and international passport;
— applicants who completed military service: military ID; those who did not: certificate of military registration.

Selection will be carried out on a competitive basis according to the results of academic assessment tests.
