John Deere tests new products in Turkmenistan

This was stated by Colin Nelson, the representative of John Deere in Turkmenistan, who participated in the meeting of the Turkmenistan–U.S. Business Council held in Washington, according to the “Türkmenistan” newspaper.

As noted in the report, bilateral meetings were held during the session with representatives of reputable state institutions and organizations of both countries.

“We are currently testing our new products that will be used for cotton and wheat harvesting in Turkmenistan. Our goal is to ensure more efficient and productive water use. We expect concrete results from our next meetings — in particular, we hope that some Turkmen private companies will be able to purchase John Deere machinery. Such forums provide an opportunity to coordinate mutual interests and to discuss in detail the ways of implementing new investment projects,”
said Colin Nelson, John Deere’s representative in Turkmenistan.
