New Issue of “Diplomatic Insight” Dedicated to Turkmenistan Published
Recently, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Mowlamaov held a meeting with the Director General of the Department for Central Asian Countries and the Economic Cooperation Organization of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hasan Ali Zaigam.
According to the Embassy, the sides exchanged views in detail on the current state and future prospects of Turkmenistan–Pakistan cooperation. Particular attention was paid to strengthening bilateral interaction in mutually interesting areas such as trade and economy, energy, transport and transit routes, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The parties also discussed regional developments and their impact on bilateral and multilateral relations.
The Ambassador then announced the publication of a special issue of “Diplomatic Insight” magazine dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and the 30th anniversary of its permanent Neutrality. The issue highlights Turkmenistan’s economic development, its policy of positive neutrality, and its contribution to global efforts aimed at promoting peace, sustainable development, and humanitarian cooperation. To familiarize the Pakistani side with the publication, the Ambassador handed over several copies for distribution among interested government and public institutions.
At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan and agreed to continue maintaining regular contacts at various levels.
