The Concept of our country's chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 2026 was published as an official document of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly and circulated to the world community. This was reported by the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations.
According to the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN, this important document was officially registered under the index A/80/722, in accordance with item 126 of the General Assembly agenda—"Cooperation between the United Nations and regional and other organizations."

Furthermore, in order to ensure that the implemented measures fully align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the task of further expanding interaction and practical actions between the CIS and the UN system has been defined as the core of our country's chairmanship.
