The production capabilities of the private sector are expanding. The work carried out to develop the private sector in Turkmenistan, establish new areas of entrepreneurship, and create modern production facilities is gaining wider scope. The increase in the number of enterprises that utilize local raw materials, supply the needs of the domestic market, and produce goods intended for export is a clear result of the developments in this field. Currently, Turkmen entrepreneurs are successfully demonstrating their capabilities not only in trade and services but also in industrial production requiring modern technologies. Among them is the modern enterprise producing ceramic products of the "Döwletli döwran" economic society, operating in the Halaç etrap. The economic society's ceramic plant, equipped with modern equipment, was commissioned nearly six years ago. The enterprise stands out for its high production capacity. Its annual capacity is designed to produce 192 thousand tonnes of finished products or 80 million pieces of ceramic bricks. The reliance of production on modern technologies creates conditions for improving product quality, carrying out production processes continuously, and making effective use of available opportunities. The plant's operation in three shifts also allows for the full utilization of its production capacity. Currently, about 200 people work at the enterprise of the "Döwletli döwran" economic society. This demonstrates that the new production contributes not only to the development of the industrial sector but also to employment of the population. The production of ceramic products is of vital importance in meeting the needs of the construction sector. The increase in the volume of products prepared from local raw materials helps substitute imported goods and develop domestic production. The production experience of the "Döwletli döwran" economic society is one of the examples showing that Turkmen private entrepreneurship successfully operates in new areas as well. The high production capacity of the enterprise and its work based on modern technologies are proof of the private sector's increasingly strengthened position in industry.
