The first unit of the fully electric "Ferrari Luce" car was sold for a record 40 million US dollars at a "Sotheby's" auction held in Monterey, USA.
Named "Chassis 0," this car is the very first serial-produced sample of the "Ferrari Luce" model.
It is noted that the vehicle is equipped with a special commemorative badge, and the proceeds from its sale will be directed by "Ferrari" to charitable purposes.
According to "Bloomberg," this sold specimen set a record as the most expensive new car ever sold at an auction.
It is worth noting that "Ferrari's" first electric vehicle was unveiled on May 26. Following the presentation, the company's shares dropped in price by over 8%, which amounts to approximately 5 billion euros.
