The French Institute in Ashgabat invites residents and guests of the capital to take part in the Open House Day, which will be held on September 5. The event is scheduled to run from 15:00 to 19:30, and admission is free.

During the Open House Day, visitors will be able to meet the institute's teachers and get detailed information about the French language courses offered. Services will also be introduced, including conversation clubs with native speakers, preparation opportunities for DELF and DALF international exams, and the mediatheque's offerings.

Throughout the event, introductory French language classes will be organized for children, teenagers, and adults. In addition, various activities will take place, such as interactive language games, a film club, a chess masterclass, and French karaoke.

As part of the cultural program, institute students will present the theatrical play "The Doctor in Spite of Himself." A solemn ceremony for awarding international DELF/DALF diplomas will also be held.

One of the key highlights of the Open House Day will be the opening of the photo exhibition titled "Journey to Turkmen Lands." The exhibition will feature photographs taken by the famous French photographer Paul Nadar during his expedition to Turkmenistan in 1890.

The event will offer anyone interested in the French language and culture a great opportunity to get acquainted with the institute, learn about study opportunities, and participate in a diverse cultural program.
