An international media forum titled "Center of Islamic Civilization: New Views, New Discoveries" has commenced its work in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. Journalists, media professionals, and international experts from various countries around the world are participating in the international event held in Tashkent and Samarkand from August 24 to 29.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the mass media of our country are also participating in the forum.
The main events of the international media forum are taking place at the Center of Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. Following the opening ceremony of the forum, participants familiarized themselves with the thematic exhibition organized in the center's foyer.
Along with museum values, the exhibition showcases scientific and educational projects, electronic data, and materials prepared using modern multimedia technologies. This center is being developed as an international-level platform for science, education, and culture.
At the plenary session of the forum, the specifics of creating modern documentaries, new approaches in this field, and international experience were discussed. Issues related to the scientific study of historical data, the development of the publishing system, and the expansion of cooperation between media structures of different countries were also considered.
One of the important directions of the event was the effective use of digital technologies in the media sphere. Participants exchanged views on the capabilities of modern technologies in improving the work of mass media.
During the forum, special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects of international importance in the media field, the exchange of experience, and the development of creative cooperation.
As part of the international event, creative meetings and master classes are also organized for students studying journalism in Uzbekistan.
According to the forum's program, on August 27, the events will continue in the city of Samarkand. Participants will get acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of the city.
On August 28, the final plenary session and closing ceremony of the international media forum will be held.
This international forum held in Tashkent serves as an important platform for international experience exchange in the media field, exploring the capabilities of digital technologies, and developing creative cooperation between mass media of various countries.
