Turkmenistan is extensively featured in a special issue of one of the international tourism publications. The 18th issue of World Magazine, the official publication of the World Tourism Forum Institute, is entirely dedicated to Turkmenistan.

The 60-page special edition was published under the title "Turkmenistan-2026: Neutral and Independent Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds." This issue of the magazine is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, and its cover features an image of an Akhal-Teke horse.

The publication provides ample space for Turkmenistan's historical and cultural heritage, its status of permanent neutrality, economic development, and tourism potential. Furthermore, information is included regarding the significance of the Caspian region, the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, and transport-communication and transit capabilities.

Separate sections of the magazine also draw attention to the national values of the Turkmen people. Readers are introduced to the Akhal-Teke horse, the Turkmen Alabay, the literary heritage of the great poet Magtymguly Fragi, as well as the country's historical and cultural monuments.

Articles on Ashgabat, the Darvaza gas crater in the Karakum Desert, the Yangykala Canyon, and the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone on the Caspian Sea coast were also published in the edition. Additionally, the existing opportunities for tourism and investment in Turkmenistan are described.

World Magazine is the official publication of the World Tourism Forum Institute, disseminating information on global tourism development, current industry trends, and investment opportunities. The magazine is distributed free of charge for informational purposes.
