In the southern part of the city of Ashgabat, construction of the new International Pediatrics Center, which will offer high-level medical services for children, has reached its final stage. The modern medical complex will become one of the next important results of the reforms being carried out in Turkmenistan's healthcare system.

Recently, the President of Turkmenistan familiarized himself with the work underway at the construction site of the new center. The five-story facility is intended to provide highly qualified consultative, diagnostic, and treatment services for children over the age of three.

The grand opening of the center is planned to be held on the occasion of the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers in the year celebrating the 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of Turkmenistan. Particular importance is attached to ensuring that the new medical institution operates in close international cooperation with leading clinics around the world.

Modern medical technologies, digital solutions, and artificial intelligence capabilities will be widely utilized in the center to protect children's health. The President of Turkmenistan noted the necessity of regularly improving the professional skills of medical personnel and introducing new technologies into clinical practice.

The design of the rooms in the consultative department has been developed taking children's psychology into account. Creating a bright and engaging environment for children will help them feel more comfortable during medical examinations.

The diagnostic department will house functional and radiation diagnostics rooms, as well as modern endoscopic equipment from leading global manufacturers. The use of artificial intelligence technologies will enable the rapid and highly accurate analysis of medical data. Special systems automatically monitoring indoor climate conditions are also provided in the department.

Modern equipment for digital radiography and intensive care has been installed in the treatment department. The use of digital technologies, along with increasing the effectiveness of treatment, will create conditions for children to feel more psychologically at ease during medical procedures.

Special monitors for online data exchange between different departments will be used in the operating and intensive care units. This will make it possible to quickly obtain necessary information during surgery and make appropriate medical decisions promptly.

Special conditions aimed at preventing the spread of infectious diseases have been created in the post-operative rooms of the center. At the same time, strict compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of the rooms, and efficient ventilation operation are listed among the core requirements placed on the staff.

The inpatient department has created the necessary conditions for round-the-clock treatment of children. To help young patients spend their free time usefully and organize the recovery period more comfortably, a children's playground has also been established on the center's grounds.

The commissioning of the new International Pediatrics Center will be an important step aimed at expanding the capabilities of modern medical services in the field of child healthcare in Turkmenistan and elevating the pediatric sector to a qualitatively new level.
