Preparations for the start of the new academic year continue in Lebap velayat. Ahead of the 2026–2027 academic year, educational institutions in the velayat are preparing to welcome students and hold celebrations for the young children crossing the school threshold for the first time.

In the new academic year, 20,988 children are expected to be enrolled in the first grade of secondary schools in Lebap velayat. Various cultural and social events are planned for them in the first days of the academic year to celebrate the joyful moments of the children's first steps into school life in a festive atmosphere.

It is also planned to present modern computers on behalf of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan to the students entering the first grade. These gifts will provide conditions for the younger generation to familiarize themselves with modern technologies and utilize digital education opportunities.

During the preparation period for the new academic year in the velayat, special importance is attached to the digitalization of the education system. By integrating modern technologies more widely into the educational process in schools, the goal is to enhance students' opportunities to master new knowledge and develop their computer literacy and digital skills.

In the 2025–2026 academic year, a total of 23,561 students graduated from school across the velayat. The successes achieved by them on their educational journey will be presented as an example for the younger generation.

The achievements, creative abilities, and talents of students in various fields will be widely showcased at the celebrations entitled "Altyn asyr altyn zehinler."
