President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the building complex of the International Pediatrics Center, the construction of which is in its final stage in the southern part of the capital, and familiarized himself with the work being carried out there.

The Head of State was briefed on the current state of construction of the center, the equipment of the departments, and the landscaping of the surrounding area. Projects concerning the conditions to be created in the center, the layout of the rooms, and the modern medical equipment to be used were also presented.

It is planned that the International Pediatrics Center will consist of 5 floors and provide medical services to children over 3 years old. Along with consultative, diagnostic, therapeutic, and inpatient departments, the center will house clinical laboratories, operating rooms, a conference hall, and a special playground for children.

The center provides for the widespread use of modern medical equipment, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence capabilities. The diagnostic department has been installed with state-of-the-art equipment to conduct various types of functional and radiation examinations, including endoscopic equipment.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that since the center is intended for children, its internal environment must correspond to the age characteristics of the kids. Special attention was paid to ensuring that the design of the rooms attracts children's attention and helps them feel comfortable during the treatment period.

The therapeutic department is creating the necessary conditions for restoring children's health and performing surgeries. Digital X-ray, intensive care equipment, and modern medical technologies will be installed here. It is also planned to use digital screens to distract children during treatment.

Online video communication with other relevant departments will be established in the surgical department. This system will allow doctors to instantly exchange necessary information and use the advice of relevant specialists during complex operations.

The Head of State emphasized that special attention should be paid to storing patient treatment information in electronic form within the center. Such a system will provide doctors with the opportunity to review information about the child's previous treatments and health status at any time.

Necessary conditions will also be created in the postoperative rehabilitation department of the center. Requirements are envisaged for individual monitoring of patients and preventing the spread of infectious diseases.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions regarding the efficient and long-term use of medical equipment, the continuous improvement of the professional level of doctors, and the introduction of advanced world medical experience.

It was also noted that it is necessary to strictly observe cleanliness, air exchange, and sanitary requirements in all departments of the center.

Comfortable conditions for children are envisaged in the inpatient departments. Along with modern equipment, necessary opportunities for children to rest will be provided in the rooms. The center also plans to create a special playground for toddlers.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to complete the construction work of the International Pediatrics Center with high quality and within the established deadlines. He also noted the importance of preparing for the opening ceremony of the center at a high level.

Commissioning the new International Pediatrics Center will be one of the important stages of work carried out in Turkmenistan to protect children's health and raise the level of specialized medical services provided to them.
