An innovative educational competition entitled “STEM Olympiad” will be held at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction on November 25. A themed exhibition dedicated to modern educational technologies and innovative developments is also planned as part of the event.

Students from higher and secondary vocational education institutions in Turkmenistan will be eligible to participate in the competition. Each educational institution may nominate one team consisting of no more than five students. Participating teams will demonstrate their knowledge and skills in one of the competition’s three categories: “STEM,” “STEAM,” or “STREAM.”

Registration for educational institutions wishing to participate in the competition will remain open until November 15. Participants’ information must be prepared in accordance with the prescribed format and sent to the organizing committee’s email address: tdbgistem2026@gmail.com.

A registration form template and additional information about the competition rules are available on the official website of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction: https://tdbgi.edu.tm/ru/news/810?source=local.

The main objectives of the competition are to improve the quality of education, promote the wider integration of “STEM,” “STEAM,” and “STREAM” methodologies into the learning process, and strengthen cooperation among educational institutions in this field.

The initiative is also aimed at identifying talented students, improving young people’s technological literacy, and developing critical-thinking skills and the ability to work with modern technologies.

The “STEM Olympiad” competition will give students an opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, present their innovative ideas, and exchange experience in modern educational fields.
