The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan has announced a tender for construction works to reconstruct the Ymamnazar customs point, located in Kerki etrap of Lebap velayat, on the border between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan. The announcement was reported by Lebap.biz.

The Ymamnazar customs point is one of the facilities of significant importance to cross-border trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan. Its reconstruction is linked to the modernisation of border infrastructure and the development of transport and logistics capabilities.

Applications and proposals from interested parties wishing to participate in the tender are accepted and processed in accordance with the established procedure by the Department of Market Research and Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan.

The deadline for submitting applications and proposals for the tender has been set for 24 November 2026.
