The construction sector plays an important role in the economic development of independent Turkmenistan. The high pace of large-scale construction work carried out in the country primarily increases the demand for high-quality construction materials produced by local manufacturing enterprises.

One of the enterprises operating effectively in this direction in Lebap velayat is the Koytendag Quarry Management of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan. Currently, the enterprise consistently supplies the country's construction sites with various types of necessary construction materials.

The management specializes in producing crushed stone, washed enriched sand, gravel-sand mixture, and non-metallic construction materials, which are in high demand during the construction period. The modernization of production and the commissioning of powerful machinery further expand the enterprise's capabilities. Currently, 4 excavators, 2 bulldozers, 8 loaders, as well as 14 KamAZ and 12 MAZ trucks are used effectively here.

The raw materials necessary for production are sourced from the enterprise's quarry economy, which covers an area of 310 hectares. The automation of all technological processes from the extraction of raw materials to the output of finished products ensures high quality that meets established requirements.

In the first seven months of 2026, the Koytendag Quarry Management fulfilled the plan for the production of non-metallic construction materials by 109.48 percent. During this period, 158.18 thousand cubic meters of crushed stone, 234.47 thousand cubic meters of washed enriched sand, 27.04 thousand cubic meters of rubble stone, and 203.56 thousand cubic meters of gravel-sand mixture were produced.

High production indicators demonstrate the continuous growth of labor productivity at the enterprise. The prompt delivery of manufactured construction materials to construction sites in various parts of the country signifies the enterprise's growing contribution to the development of the national construction industry.
