According to the head of the parliament, appropriate preparatory and organizational work is currently being actively carried out in our country together with the secretariat of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly to organize this international event at a high level. It was emphasized that the Turkmen side is fully ready to create all conditions and provide comprehensive support for the successful holding of this important forum.
In her speech, D. She confirmed that effective relations are being conducted among the member states of the Commonwealth in political, economic, trade, and humanitarian directions.
"Uniting a wide geographical space, the CIS serves as an effective platform for the sustainable development of centuries-old historical, political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian relations between our countries," noted the head of the Parliament of Turkmenistan.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis also reminded once again that Turkmenistan is presiding over the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2026. The main goal of our country's chairmanship is to further improve multilateral and mutually beneficial cooperation based on mutual trust, equality, and peaceful dialogue, as well as to further strengthen the international role and prestige of the Commonwealth in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
