On October 7–9, it will host the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and the Caspian Ecological Summit.

This was noted during a telephone conversation between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahatyny of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the conversation, the effectiveness of the work carried out by Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in developing regional cooperation was emphasized. It was noted that the parties' views on regional issues largely coincide or are close.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow expressed gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for supporting Turkmenistan's proposal to participate in the three important international forums to be held in "Avaza." Kassym-Jomart Tokayev confirmed his participation in these summits.

The upcoming meetings are expected to serve as an important platform for further strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia, developing interstate relations, and jointly discussing environmental issues of the Caspian Sea.
