Turkmen football referees performed at a high level during the qualification stage of the international tournament "Asian Cup 2027," held in the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh.

On August 31, as part of Group G, Turkmenistani referees successfully officiated the match between the Japan U20 and Kuwait U20 national teams.

Resul Mammedow was appointed as the match referee, while Ahmet Begnazarow served as his assistant.
