
India and the Central Asian nations — Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan — discussed expanding trade routes and developing transport connectivity during the international conference titled "India – Central Asia: Interconnectivity, Security, and Sustainable Partnership in a Multipolar World." The "Dunyo" agency reported this on Friday.
Conference participants paid special attention to the development of transport and logistics corridors and the deepening of economic cooperation between the regions. The forum brought together experts from Central Asian countries and India, staff from scientific institutions, as well as heads and representatives of diplomatic missions.
During the conference, key areas of partnership were discussed, including ensuring security and developing sustainable cooperation in the energy, economic, and humanitarian sectors.
