
Samsung has officially introduced the "Galaxy A57" and "Galaxy A37" smartphones. While the new models retain the design features of their predecessors, they stand out with higher-quality body materials, new platforms, and artificial intelligence (AI) functions. There are minor changes in the camera system. Sales of the new smartphones will begin on April 10.
The vapor chamber volume of the "Samsung Galaxy A57" has been increased by 13% to provide more advanced cooling. The smartphone features a metal frame and IP68-standard water and dust resistance (compared to IP67 in the Galaxy A56 model).
The side frames of the "Galaxy A37" model are made of plastic. Its body thickness is 6.9 mm, and it weighs 179 grams. The dimensions of the Galaxy A57 are 7.4 mm and 196 grams, respectively. The smaller model also features an IP68 protection system.
Both models are equipped with 6.7-inch "Super AMOLED" screens with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, and they support 45W wired charging. The battery can reach 60% charge within half an hour.
The main camera of both smartphones is 50 MP, and the front camera is 12 MP. There is a difference in the ultra-wide-angle modules: 12 MP for the "Galaxy A57" and 8 MP for the "Galaxy A37." A 5-megapixel camera is used as the third module for macro photography.
The "Galaxy A57" model received several AI functions, including expanded capabilities of the "Best Face" system, "Auto Trim" for automatic video cutting, and an improved "Object Eraser." A voice-to-text transcription function is also available. Both smartphones run on "One UI 8.5" based on "Android 16" and will receive software updates for 6 years.
