Talented Children of Türkmenabat Achieve Success at International Art Competitions

Talented students of the Art School in the city of Türkmenabat, who are passionate about creativity, have successfully performed in international festive competitions and proudly raised the name of our country on the world stage. With her artwork, Aziza Bashimova took part in the international festival-competition “Children of the World: The Era Unites,” held in Moscow, the capital of Russia, and won the Grand Prize. Her peers — Nurana Jumayeva, Gulustan Rejepova, and Dunyagozel Shadiyeva — also earned prize-winning places at the 7th International Children's Art Competition known as “City of Friendship,” held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

A great share of these achievements belongs to the school’s experienced teacher, Yelena Ishankulieva. Under her guidance, the prepared works reflect the principles of our country’s permanent neutrality policy, based on peace, friendship, and humanism. The creative works clearly highlight our nation’s cultural and spiritual values, moral norms, and national traditions.

Aziza Bashimova’s artwork “Let’s Be Friends!” received special recognition at the international competition. The piece not only emphasizes the importance of creativity for young artists from different countries but also promotes ideas of humanity and goodwill. Through expressive artistic imagery, the peace-loving policy of our Homeland is clearly depicted.

Yelena Ishankulieva diligently teaches young talents the fine techniques and methods of painting, creating opportunities for their creative growth. As a result, her students win prestigious international awards.

In recent days, a ceremonial event was held at the regional Museum of History and Local Lore, where successful students were presented with diplomas, gifts, and flowers. Representatives of public organizations, political parties, cultural workers, students, and creative groups took part in the event.

The teacher, Yelena Ishankulieva, was also awarded Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the regional department of culture for her contribution to the development of art and her continuous support of youth.
