Teachers participated in a conference on the use of artificial intelligence in the field of education

University teachers of Turkmenistan took part in an online conference organized by the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation (UNESCO-ICHEI) under the auspices of UNESCO, titled “Empowering Educators: Unleashing the Hidden Potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Teaching and Learning.”

Associate Professor Kaushal Kumar Bhagat from the Centre for Advanced Technologies and Innovation of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, who also serves as Deputy Head of the Center for Pedagogical Training and Soft Skills, acted as the speaker and moderator. His presentation significantly broadened and deepened the participants’ understanding, knowledge, and experience in applying artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. Using concrete examples, he explained new approaches to effectively integrating generative AI into the educational process, organizing and planning lessons with AI, modern assessment systems, personalized learning, and the development of creative content.

The conference generated great interest among Turkmen university teachers, who actively participated in thematic discussions and exchanges. Educators received detailed answers to all their questions regarding the use of digital innovative technologies and AI in education, international practices of AI application, as well as the integration of AI into science, education, and production.
