Turkmenistan Delegation Participates in the Final Session of the Central Asian Women Leaders Dialogue

On November 25, representatives of the Turkmenistan Mejlis took part in the final session of the Central Asian Women Leaders Dialogue 2025, held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. This was reported on the official website of the Turkmenistan Mejlis.

The aim of the session was to strengthen peaceful relations between countries in the region, enhance mutual trust and cooperation, promote the role of women in society and their leadership skills, and highlight women’s contributions to governance, social, economic, and cultural development.

According to the report, the Mejlis representatives emphasized Turkmenistan’s initiative in the adoption of the UN General Assembly resolution “2025 — International Year of Peace and Trust,” as well as the role of women in peace and security matters and the activities being implemented in this field in the country.

It was also noted that women’s roles in political, economic, and social life in Turkmenistan are increasingly significant, and they occupy important positions in governance, education, healthcare, public service, and international relations.

Speakers also highlighted the importance of the UN-established Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Ashgabat, which makes a substantial contribution to promoting cooperation on key regional issues.
