🌿 Magtymguly Turkmen State University invites participants to an international scientific conference on ecology and climate change. The online forum, to be held on June 4–5, will focus on environmental security, water resources, sustainable use of natural resources, and biodiversity. Thesis submissions are accepted until May 23.
Magtymguly Turkmen State University will host an international scientific-practical conference titled "Priority Direction of Sustainable Development Goals: Issues of Ecology and Climate Change" on June 4-5, 2026.
The international forum is dedicated to the year "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — Homeland of Inspired Steeds," the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, and World Environment Day.
The conference, which will be held via a digital system, will include scientific presentations in four main areas:
- Ecological Security: The role of modern education and science achievements.
- Climate Change and Water Resources: Adaptation issues and modern ways of protecting water resources.
- Natural Resources: Innovative methods for the rational use of natural wealth.
- Biodiversity: Modern methods of studying biodiversity and their practical significance.
The university invites professors, teachers, researchers, postgraduates, and students from national and foreign higher education institutions to participate. Partners of the European Union's Erasmus+ project "Strengthening Higher Education in the Water Sector for Climate Resilience and Security in Central Asia" will also attend.
Abstracts, annotations, and registration forms are accepted until May 23 via the email address: tsuecoconference@gmail.com. The conference will be conducted in Turkmen, Russian, and English.
