The “Nepis” private enterprise in Mary is preparing to double its production capacity. High-quality socks made from local cotton are strengthening the domestic market while expanding export opportunities. New production facilities and advanced equipment will elevate the company’s growth.
The "Nepis" private enterprise, located in Mary and a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, is steadily strengthening its position in the textile industry. Currently, the company makes a significant contribution to ensuring product abundance in the country's hosiery market.
The company's operations are based on modern technologies and high-quality local raw materials:
- Production Capacity: The annual production capacity ranges from 4.5 to 4.7 million pairs of socks.
- Range: Customers are offered more than 15 basic types of socks for men, women, teenagers, and children, available in dozens of design patterns.
- Composition: 80 percent of the product is made from local white cotton. This ensures the environmental friendliness of the products and comfort for human health.
The facility is equipped with machinery from world-renowned companies of the People's Republic of China, and operations are conducted in two shifts. Currently, 35 specialists are employed here.
In the year marking the 35th anniversary of our sacred Independence, the "Nepis" enterprise aims for new milestones:
- Construction of new production buildings has commenced. Once these facilities are operational, production capacity will double.
- There are plans to install the most modern, high-performance equipment from China and Italy in the new buildings.
- One of the company's main goals is to supply high-quality Turkmen products not only to the domestic market but also to foreign markets.
State support provided to the private sector opens broad opportunities for Mary entrepreneurs to create new jobs and further strengthen the country's export potential.
