The Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline stretches over a distance of 1,768 kilometers. It carries crude oil extracted from the Caspian Sea from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, through Georgia to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean Sea.
