The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow signed a decree on the discharge of conscripts who have completed their service and the next military draft of citizens. The call-up will take place from April to June 2026, and distinguished servicemen will be encouraged.
In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Duty and Military Service," I hereby decree:
- To discharge from the Armed Forces, other troops, and military bodies of Turkmenistan in April–June 2026 military personnel serving on call-up who have served the terms established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Duty and Military Service."
- To call up for military service in April–June 2026 male citizens of Turkmenistan who have reached the age of 18 by the day of call-up and who do not have the right to exemption or deferment from call-up, and male citizens up to 27 years of age who have lost the right to deferment from call-up for military service.
- This Decree shall come into force from the date of its official publication.

In order to implement Decree No. 676 of the President of Turkmenistan dated March 16, 2026, on the discharge from the Armed Forces, other troops, and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel serving on call-up, and the regular call-up of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order. According to the document, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of National Security, the Head of the State Border Service, the Head of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, and the Head of the State Migration Service are instructed to conduct the discharge of military personnel who have served the terms established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Duty and Military Service" in a solemn atmosphere according to plans, and to encourage those who distinguished themselves in combat and socio-humanitarian training.
