“Arkadag” football club has strengthened its attacking line by signing 25-year-old forward Meylis Diniyev in the first days of the winter transfer window. He previously won the Turkmenistan Cup and became the national champion.
In the first days of the winter transfer window, “Arkadag” football club strengthened its squad with forward Meylis Diniyev, who plays on the relevant flanks of the field.
The 25-year-old player previously played for the Kyrgyz club “Kyrgyzaltyn.”
Notably, Diniyev won the Turkmenistan Cup in 2018 while playing for Ashgabat’s “Köpetdag.” In 2022, he won the same Cup with “Ahal” and became the national champion.
The prolific forward is regularly called up to the Turkmenistan national team.
By accepting this transfer, Diniyev will enhance “Arkadag’s” attacking potential ahead of the AFC Champions League 2nd round play-off matches against Saudi Arabia’s “Al-Nassr” on February 11 and 18.
