Ashgabat’s Mukam Palace hosted the grand TÜRKSOY XXVII Opera Days concert, celebrating the cultural unity of the Turkic world. Renowned performers from Turkmenistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan presented national and global opera masterpieces in a powerful evening of friendship and cultural diplomacy.
A solemn concert was held at the Mukam Palace in Ashgabat on the occasion of the 27th Opera Days of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY). This event became another important step in strengthening the historical and spiritual unity among Turkic-speaking peoples and in developing cultural diplomacy.
Prominent masters of opera art from Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan performed at the ceremony. The concert program was distinguished by its richness and diversity:
- National Heritage: Excerpts from national operas in Turkmen, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, and Turkish languages were performed.
- World Classics: Arias from famous operas such as "Romeo and Juliet," "Carmen," and "Faust" were sung in Italian, French, German, and Spanish.
Today, Turkmenistan is taking its cooperation with prestigious international organizations, particularly TURKSOY, to a new level. This event is clear evidence that our country is becoming an important center for international cultural and humanitarian relations. The concert was characterized not only as a celebration of art but also as a triumph of peace, friendship, and mutual trust between nations.
The ceremony began with the song "Turkmenistan — a Flowering Garden" by Weli Muhadow, performed by the State Symphony Orchestra and the State Choir of Turkmenistan. At the end of the concert, all participants jointly performed the famous piece "Funiculì, Funiculà." This unique final performance resonated as an anthem of the unity and friendly relations of the Turkic peoples.
Participants of the event expressed their gratitude to the Head of State for the wide opportunities created for the development of the cultural sphere and the strengthening of international cooperation.
