International Recognition: Turkmen Artist Wins Special Award at Tashkent Exhibition

A Turkmen artist received a special award at an international exhibition in Tashkent. The event, organized by TURKSOY, recognized the high level of Turkmen fine arts and young artists’ creativity.
In the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, an international exhibition of young artists from Turkic states titled "Turkic World: United Spirit, Diversity of Colors" was held. Organized by TURKSOY in collaboration with the Academy of Arts and the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan, the event became a unique fusion of the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples and contemporary art.
Within the framework of this international exhibition, the representative of Turkmenistan, member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, and teacher at the Turkmen State Special Art School, Gurban Babatajow, achieved great success. He was honored with the TURKSOY Special Award for his original artistic vision and high level of craftsmanship.
