The Turkmenistan – European Union Business Forum, titled "New Horizons of Connectivity and Sustainable Development," will be held on March 26, 2026, at the Yyldyz Hotel in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat. This was reported by the International Trade Centre (ITC).
The forum is organized by the European Union and the Government of Turkmenistan, with the International Trade Centre participating as a partner in the event.
The main goal of the event is to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the European Union and Turkmenistan. The forum's agenda includes priority areas of the "Global Gateway" initiative in Turkmenistan, including the development of transport connectivity, logistics, energy, and sustainable development issues.
The business forum will be attended by representatives of relevant state structures and business communities of Turkmenistan and the European Union, as well as representatives of international financial institutions and international organizations.
Within the framework of the forum, B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2G (Business-to-Government) meetings are planned to establish direct business contacts and discuss opportunities for sectoral and investment cooperation.
