Following the blessing given by the President of Turkmenistan during the regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting on March 20, the cotton sowing season begins today in all regions of the country. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan" newspaper. This year, the following cotton varieties will be planted: - Ahal province: medium-staple "Yoloten — 7", "Yoloten — 39", "Jeyhun", and fine-staple "Yoloten — 14". - Balkan province: medium-staple "Yoloten — 7" and "Jeyhun". - Dashoguz province: medium-staple "Dashoguz — 114", "Dashoguz — 120", "Jeyhun", and "F — 149". - Lebap province: medium-staple "Yoloten — 7", "Yoloten — 39", "Yoloten — 53", "S — 2606", and "Garashsyzlyk — 30". - Mary province: medium-staple "Yoloten — 7", "Yoloten — 39", "Yoloten — 53", "Yoloten — 50", "TOHU — 17", and fine-staple "Yoloten — 14".
