High-Level Delegation of Turkmenistan to Attend the "Russia — Islamic World" Forum in Kazan

A delegation from Turkmenistan is preparing to participate in several major international events to be held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, R. Meredov, during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting. According to the report, a visit to Kazan by a delegation led by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is scheduled for May 13–14. The annual International Economic Forum "Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum" is considered one of the world's primary platforms for discussing economic relations. As part of this forum, the delegation of Turkmenistan will participate in the following events and exhibitions: - The "Russia Halal Expo" specialized exhibition and conference; - The "International Real Estate Market" exhibition; - The "Kazan Halal Market" international trade fair; - The "Russia Modest Fashion Day" festival. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the events in Kazan are of particular importance for expanding trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and Russia. The Head of State instructed relevant officials to ensure high-level participation of the country's representatives in all planned activities. This visit will provide a new impetus to elevating the traditional brotherly relations and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia, specifically with the Republic of Tatarstan, to a new level.
