Success in Dubai: Turkmen students return with 12 medals from the international robotics competition

At the "IWISE Global Final 2026" international competition, young talents from Turkmenistan secured a total of 12 medals (2 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze). Selim Begmyradow and Abdyljelil Patyşagulyýew won gold medals, and their team was honored as the "Best Team" of the entire competition. A remarkable achievement for the future of technology in Turkmenistan!
The "IWISE Global Final 2026" international competition, held from February 14 to 16 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, ended with a great victory for Turkmen schoolchildren. In the prestigious competition, attended by more than 400 talented young people from around the world, our country's teams managed to win a total of 12 medals (2 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze).
The following students were awarded the highest prize of the competition — the gold medal:
- Selim Begmyradow (Ashgabat, Secondary School No. 7)
- Abdyljelil Patyshagulyyew (Ashgabat, Specialized Secondary School No. 97)
The talented youth did not only limit themselves to gold medals for their high results in the "Line Follower" category but were also declared the "Best Team" of the entire competition and presented with a special award.
In addition, several of our schoolchildren showed high mastery in their respective fields:
- Silver medals (6): Abdullah Annayew ("Line Follower"), Muhammedkasym Annayew ("Mini Sumo"), Saranur Annayewa, Polat Saparow, Bilalkerem Berdiyew, and Aysenem Akmyradowa.
- Bronze medals (4): Ebubekir Berdiyew ("Line Follower"), Muhammedulemin Annayew ("Maze/Labyrinth"), Rahman Garrygulow, and Gurbanmuhammet Magtymgulyyew.
Also, Muhammedulemin Annayew, a student of Specialized Secondary School No. 6 in Ashgabat, was honored with a special jury prize.
These talented members of the robotics club of the 1st Specialized Educational Complex of Arkadag City and the "Kämil bilim" education center, who achieved great success in the international competition, were led by experienced teachers Myrat Sahetgulyyew and Halil Kowusow.
"This victory is clear evidence that not only schoolchildren but also the younger generation, who are the future of our country, have great potential in the world of technology. I would like to say a big thank you to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the conditions and opportunities created!" – expressed Myrat Sahetgulyyew, a teacher at the 1st Specialized Educational Complex of Arkadag City.
