Winners of the Foreign Language Competition

A foreign language competition was held at the TGM Military Institute in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day. Begench Serdarow won 1st place in English, and Arslan Permanow took 2nd place in Russian.
Recently, the Department of Languages of the Turkmen State Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Military Institute organized a foreign language competition among cadets of military and law enforcement educational institutions in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The competition was held in English and Russian, during which cadets completed tasks in test form and using the computer-linguaphone system.
As a result, 4th-year cadet Begench Serdarow took 1st place in English, and 5th-year cadet Arslan Permanow took 2nd place in Russian. Winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.
On the same day, a methodological seminar for foreign language teachers was held. Teachers discussed modern methods of teaching English and Russian, features of teaching foreign languages to military and law enforcement personnel, and the role of information and communication technologies in language learning, exchanging experiences and best practices.
