Construction of the new 30,000-capacity mosque, being built as part of the second phase of Turkmenistan's "smart" city, is progressing at a high pace. As reported by the "Watan" news program, yesterday the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, personally inspected the progress of work at the complex.
Architectural and National Features The new mosque will be one of the largest religious buildings not only in Arkadag City but also in the entire region. Modern architectural solutions are combined with national traditions in its construction and decoration.
- Dome Decoration: Special attention is paid to the color characteristics of the mosque's domes and their harmony with the overall appearance of the city.
- Prayer Rugs: The design of the massive prayer rugs to be laid inside the building has been specially developed. Importance is placed on ensuring that their colors and patterns match the white-marble aesthetic of Arkadag City.
- Landscaping: Plans include creating green zones around the house of God and organizing the adjacent areas in accordance with cleanliness standards.
Information regarding the progress of construction was presented by D. Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City.
