24/7 Online Taxi Service Launched in Türkmenabat

A new digital transportation service — “Online Taxi” — has been launched in the city of Turkmenabat, offering residents round-the-clock taxi booking via the short number 0655, according to the Turkmenawtoulaglary Agency.
The project is implemented jointly by the Lebapavtoulag Production Association and Automobile Transport Service JSC, with the goal of improving the quality of urban transportation and providing passengers with fast and convenient travel options within the city.
A key feature of the new system is its automated notification service: passengers receive SMS confirmations for their bookings along with estimated arrival times, allowing for better time management and enhanced service transparency.
Following a successful rollout and positive feedback in Ashgabat, the service is now expanding into the Lebap region. The growth of the Online Taxi initiative contributes to the development of regional transport infrastructure and improves accessibility to modern public transport services.
