Open Lebap Velayat Kurash Championship Held in Koytendag

From March 23 to March 24, 2026, the open championship of Lebap velayat in kurash wrestling among boys and girls born in 2011–2013 was held at Sports School No. 1 of the Koytendag etrap. A total of 220 athletes from various sports schools in the region, as well as representatives from Mary velayat, participated in the competition.
Representatives from 19 sports schools competed in the championship. The largest teams were fielded by:
- Sports School No. 1 of Koytendag etrap: 40 athletes.
- Sports School No. 5 of Koytendag etrap: 29 athletes.
- Sports School No. 7 of Turkmenabat city: 28 athletes.
The competitions were held in various weight categories, ranging from 35 kg to over 71 kg for boys and from 33 kg to 70 kg for girls.
Winners Among Boys (1st Place):- 35 kg: Begench Mominow (Koytendag, SS No. 2).
- 38 kg: Soyench Niyazmuradow (Dowletli, SS No. 5).
- 42 kg: Mekan Permanow (Dowletli, SS No. 5).
- 46 kg: Anzur Mahmasharitow (Koytendag, SS No. 4).
- 50 kg: Muratgeldi Arslanow (Dowletli, SS No. 3).
- 55 kg: Nurmuhammet Akmuradow (Koytendag, SS No. 5).
- 60 kg: Maksat Azadow (Turkmenabat, SS No. 4).
- 65 kg: Shatlyk Bahtiyarow (Koytendag, SS No. 2).
- 71 kg: Begench Rozmamedow (Koytendag, SS No. 3).
Winners Among Girls (1st Place):- 33 kg: Gulshan Seyidowa (Turkmenabat, SS No. 7).
- 36 kg: Gunesh Jorayewa (Turkmenabat, SS No. 7).
- 40 kg: Jennet Charyyewa (Koytendag, SS No. 1).
- 44 kg: Guljemal Muhammedowa (Koytendag, SS No. 2).
- 52 kg: Umida Usanowa (Koytendag, SS No. 1).
- 57 kg: Roza Begmuradowa (Koytendag, SS No. 5).
- 63 kg: Mahri Jorayewa (Turkmenabat, SS No. 7).
- 70 kg: Omina Abasowa (Koytendag, SS No. 1).
