The “Single Window” System Accelerates Export and Import Operations

In 2025, a total of 189,954 licenses and permits for export and import operations were issued electronically through the “Single Window” system, which is 2.7 times higher than the figure recorded in 2024. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. The operation of the system is coordinated by the Control and Analysis Center of the central office of the State Customs Service. All applications submitted by participants of foreign economic activity through the “Single Window” system are promptly registered and processed under the supervision of authorized state bodies. This enables the reduction of processing times for export-import operations and enhances the efficiency of foreign trade. Within the system, 19 ministries and agencies provide 29 types of services related to export and import procedures. The “Single Window” system operates around the clock and facilitates the issuance of up to one thousand permit documents daily. Currently, more than 12,000 participants in foreign economic activity are registered in the system.
