Turkmenistan to invest over 41 billion manats in the economy in 2026

In 2026, Turkmenistan will invest 41.2 billion manat into its economy. Goals: create 5,300 new jobs, achieve 6.3% GDP growth, increase the private sector share to 72.9%. Banks will continue providing preferential mortgage loans.
The Head of State has approved the development program for 2026. The figures are impressive:
- 41.2 billion manats — total volume of investments from all sources.
- 5,300 new jobs — planned to be created through the launch of new enterprises.
- 6.3% — the target GDP growth rate (the country maintained this same growth pace in 2025).
- 72.9% — the share of the private sector in the GDP structure to be reached by the end of the year.
Special attention is paid to the housing issue: banks are instructed to continue issuing preferential mortgage loans.
