🌾🇹🇲 Cotton planting is moving rapidly in Lebap! The region has completed 85% of its plan, while Sayat, Kerki, Koytendag, and Halaç districts have surpassed 90%. Farmers are working hard toward a strong harvest for the 35th anniversary of Independence.
The courageous farmers of the Lebap region are continuing the cotton sowing at a high pace, aiming to prepare a worthy labor gift for the glorious 35th anniversary of our Independence.
In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, as a result of the systematic support provided to the agricultural sector by Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, great milestones are being achieved in strengthening the country's food abundance and raw material base. In response to all the facilities provided by the state — modern machinery, high-quality seeds, and fertilizer supplies — the farmers of our region are showing true labor heroism in the fields these days.
In this year's agricultural season, an obligation was undertaken to cultivate cotton on a total area of 130 thousand hectares across the region and harvest 320 thousand tons of "white gold" from it. At the moment, the operational data confirmed that the work is proceeding very efficiently:
- Overall Progress: The sowing plan for the region has already reached the level of 85%.
- The Leaders: Leaseholders of the Sayat, Kerki, Koytendag, and Halach districts have shown particular activity, managing to exceed 90% of the plan.
- Daily Result: On average, seeds are sown on more than 4.5 thousand hectares every day, which means that 3.5% of the total plan is completed daily.
About 340 units of the most modern high-performance machinery are operated without interruption in the sowing fields. So far, nearly 10 thousand tons of selected seeds have been sown into the mother soil.
Not only state leaseholders but also private producers and peasant farms are making a great contribution to this important task. They are gaining more and more experience in reclaiming virgin lands and using innovative methods.
In the year when the 35th anniversary of our Independence will be celebrated, this persistent labor of the Lebap cotton growers is the solid foundation of the future bountiful harvest. These activities, conducted under the slogan "The pace is accelerating," create great confidence that the white caravans of our region will rise even higher in the future.
