Meeting with the Ambassador of Romania at Turkmenistan’s MFA

Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanow held a meeting with Romania’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ion Naval. During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation. They emphasized the importance of holding bilateral visits as well as high-level meetings within multilateral platforms. The meeting highlighted the importance of regular political consultations between foreign policy institutions, joint meetings of the Turkmen-Romanian intergovernmental group on economic and scientific-technical cooperation, and other formats of bilateral engagement. Following the meeting, the interlocutors confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the traditional friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Romania and developing effective cooperation.
