A commercial flow of natural gas has been obtained from the Hazarly-2 well at the Hazarly field in the Dashoguz region. According to specialists, the well produces 163.4 thousand cubic meters of gas per day. Drilling operations are currently ongoing at the Hazarly-3 well.
Gas workers of the "Marynebitgazgözleg" expedition obtained an industrial-scale flow of natural gas from the Hazarly-2 well, located at the Hazarly field in the western part of the Bowrideshik step in the Gorogly district of Dashoguz province. This was reported in the "Nebit-Gaz" newspaper on Tuesday.
The expedition's gas workers successfully completed drilling operations at a depth of 3,000 meters, extracting natural gas from a productive underground layer at a depth interval of 2,755 – 2,739 meters.
According to experts' calculations, the gas well produces 163.4 thousand cubic meters of natural gas per day. Providing gas workers with high-quality products and technological equipment by the state helped to perform drilling operations in full compliance with requirements.
As noted in the report, drillers are currently conducting drilling operations at the Hazarly-3 well in the same field.
Staff of the "Marynebitgazgözleg" expedition, who work at oil and gas fields in various regions of Turkmenistan, are successfully continuing drilling at exploration wells in the Uzynada and Barsagelmez fields in Balkan province, and at the Minara field in the Murgap district of Mary province.
